Providing quality patient care starts well before patients enter the operating room. Learn how to properly care for patients before, during, and after their surgeries with our hybrid Surgical Technology program! You can apply your skills in immersive mock operating rooms to build confidence in your judgment and skills before the first day of your clinicals. In only 18 months, you鈥檒l practice assisting with various surgical procedures and prepare for the Certified Surgical Technology (CST) exam.

What You Will Do as a Surgical Technologist
Surgical Technologists are critical members of a highly skilled and respected team that includes physicians and surgeons. As a Surgical Technologist you will be responsible for many essential tasks, including:
- Assisting surgeons and nurses during surgery
- Preparing patients and operating rooms for surgery
- Sterilizing, maintaining, and supplying surgical equipment for surgery
- Monitoring surgical procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
